Create your own singing bowl

This is Alchemy.

It appears straightforward.  Anyone can do this.

Cut. File. Pound (pound, pound). Polish. Yet, you know from your reaction to the sound from a handmade singing bowl that this is something else.  Maybe you paused and sank into wonder; perhaps even slipped a little closer to your essential self.  So you know, there is something else going on.

It could be your bowl.  You could spiral in and spiral out, diving down and coming up—just hammering (hammering, hammering).  Making your own treasure, engaging in the process, exploring the craft.  It’s an expansive weekend.  And those who have pounded before you know:  while you make the bowl, the bowl makes you.
